From the Ground Up
features the Gaia Inn of Napa Valley for it's
LEED rated construction, creation from
environmentally friendly products that don't
off-gas, and woods from sustainable
harvesting techniques.
Interviews are with James Soule, general
manager,on the Co2 emission status of the
products used to construct, as well as careful
analysis of cleaning products used in day to
day upkeep.
Future plans of wastewater systems, and self-
generating power are discussed, along with
conversion of diesel engines to burn re-cycled
vegetable oils.
