Broadcast Cable Series From the Ground Up

Creating Environmentally Friendly,

Energy Self Reliant Homes and Systems

Recycled Environmentally Friendly Products

and Highly Energy Efficient Products are now being gathered for featuring in the Design Phase of the Broadcast Cable Series From the Ground Up

Manufacturers of innovative product are encouraged to submit samples and Two copies of brochures to the Production and Design teams, and may be sent to studios located at

1271 Lost Acre Drive, Felton, California, 95018

Manufacturers of product already coming into the designing phases include the following.

Authentic Roof FR,

by Crow Building Products Ltd.

Located in Ontario, Canada,

Will be bringing into the designs the Worlds First Recycled Plymer and Rubber roofing slates.

Originally invented by James Crowe and designed to be an improvement on real slate roofing, the Authentic Roof 2000FR is Underwriters listed. The old world charm of slate with more durability, without the extreme weight, and with affordable installation costs, will be capping off the designs for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home which the Art Institute of San Francisco Green Architectural School and staff is currently underway in designing.

Authentic Roofs are made from Baljen TPO compounds, a world first. Baljen is an alloy made of Polyethelene, Polypropylene, and EPDM rubber, blended homogenenously in a thermal reactor on a molecular level without binding agents or plasticizers which are harmful to the environment, molecularly DNA like stranded, not just a bunch of stuff melted together.

This DNA like material cannot be separated once blended but additives to increase ultra violet stability, flame rating, and flex modulus can enhance its performance for other products such as roofing. Other alloys include: brass, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Standard designed flashing materials can be used, with recommendation for heavier gauge utilization, painted galvanized, zinc, or copper.

The only product of its kind on the market made of TPO, with UV package and anti-oxidants to protect it from the sun’s ultra violet rays, with a 50 year limited warranty.

Hail resistant, TPO is utilized by car manufacturers worldwide because of its durability in hot and cold weather, and its small expansion/contraction ratio. A clean material which is not polluting to the environment, also extremely recyclable.

The ongoing series on Preventable Diseases continues from it's opening segments filmed at Cabrillo Hygiene Dental Clinic with a demonstration of Periodontal Perioscopy , the new, "non-cutting' edge of technology with Dr. John Kwan of Oakland, California, who practices the art and science of periodontal and implant care.

This exciting new procedure which utilizes the endoscope, a small minature video camera and magnification technology, that allows your doctor or hygienist to diagnose and treat areas below the gumline NON SURGICALLY!

With 48 times the magnification of the eyes, minute details that might have been missed, are now clearly observable.

Surgery can now be avoided, and at a much lesser cost

with very little discomfort during the process!

Deep pockets can now be improved, bringing new hope for patients with minimally invasive treatment.

Find a dentist that offers this wonderful new procedure, as I have experienced a full mouth cleaning, all 4 quads, that took only 1 hour, and required not even an aspirin to recover!

Segments 111, 112, and 113 will be highlighting an actual procedure with Dr. John Kwan commenting on this great new advancement in the science of treatment for periodontal disease.

These segments will be available to the public as DVD Master Broadcast ready, slated, and in a format which you may submit to your own local Public Access Cable Stations, all across the nation, on a no cost for airing basis.

Help bring this great new breakthrough in science to your own communities by requesting the DVD copies and submitting them for airing.

All local Public Access Stations must, by law, give them at least one airing, and maybe more, in prime time slots, if the materials are great, as these are.

Broadcasting Schedule in my own weekly Friday evening, 5:30 p.m. time slot on Cable 27, Santa Cruz, California for these segments follows:

Friday, August 12th - 2005 - 5:30 p.m.

Cable 27, Santa Cruz, California

Segment 111: Preventable Disease:

Interviews with Dr. John Kwan of Oakland, California, who is leading the charge towards better science in the Perioscopy Alternative to surgery.

Opening Interview of the procedure and the new technology helping to eliminate invasive gum surgery.

Friday, August 19th- 2005 - 5:30 p.m.

Cable 27, Santa Cruz, California

Dr. John Kwan of Oakland, California, begins the actual operational procedure of Perioscopy, utilizing the endoscope to see the tooth below the gum line.

Friday, August 26th, 2005 - 5:30 p.m.

Dr. John Kwan of Oakland, California, completes the one hour procedure of cleaning deep pockets with the use of an endoscope.

About the Producer: Tamara Lynn Scott

I have been living off the grid for the past 20 years, originally in a Hud Awarded Custom designed 2 bedroom, 2 bath home, complete with greenhouse on the south facing front side of the home for solar heat gain during the day, which was then stored in 3 feet of rock storage under the home for heat release through the night, and conversely, to gain the cool temperature of the rock from the night, to help cool the home during the day, utilizing reverse blowers.

Solar Photovoltaic panels on the roof provided all the electricity requirements for the home.

Solar Water Panels below the home allowed hot water to passively rise throughout the day into storage hot water tanks, which then could gravity feed into the home showers and bath, no motors or pumps were required.

Water was provided by a 500 foot deep well on the property which was mandatory to obtain building permits, and which provides water for drinking and back-up, but rainwater collection systems were later installed to fill a 5000 gallon tank on the property, which could then gravity feed to the gardens, as well as provide shower, toilet and filtered water systems.

Utility bills for external power, propane, which was utilized as a back up water heating source, and for cooking and refrigeration, cost only $20.oo per year.

Much of the cooking was achieved via built in fire racks and bake ovens incorporated into the fireplace, with all the wood being provided on the property.

An ardent recycler and artist who utilizes materials currently being discarded through renovation projects elsewhere in the community, original tile mosaics, marble mosaics, creative usages of cabinet material scraps, and lumber mill wood shavings, have demonstrated usefulness throughout the property and are incorporated into several small outstructures on the property.

Having lost the above main home to fire several years ago, is now allowing for the Art Institute of San Francisco Architecture Department to utilize this site as a teaching tool to train new Architects, and those interested in " Green" design, to begin a process of developing new blueprints which will incorporate the latest technological advances, green building materials, and thinking, into a buildable design that the public will be able to gain from, and recreate in their own locals.

DVD Broadcast copies of each segment, completely slated and ready for submission to any Public Access Cable Station across the country are being made available to all who wish to see these programs aired in their own communities on a no cost for airing basis, and all are encouraged to bring these segments into their own communities.
